Description

As the Head of Employee Experience, you will have a part to play in everything that our Clan (that’s what we call our team) touches, does, see and feels. You’ll be in part responsible for making DirectID the most enjoyable, productive and attractive place to do your best work.

This role is broad in its remit and exciting in its potential and impact on a fast-growing company. You will be instrumental in laying some firm foundations for continued growth. We expect you to grab hold of our Operational HR, Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Wellness, Compensation and anything else you might be up for!

You will be part of our leadership team and work closely with them to develop and implement plans that attract and retain top talent, promote a positive and inclusive culture, and support employee development and engagement.

  • Lead the recruitment process, and develop strategies to attract top talent from the UK and abroad. We use Workable (ATS) and have relationships with external recruiters and a trusted EOR.
  • Manage and develop HR policies and procedures, including employee engagement and retention in line with local legislation.
  • Create and implement programs that promote a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align employee experience strategies with company goals.
  • Build and manage people events and comms plan suitable for our growing Clan
  • Build on and own our incredible employee experience from onboarding to exit
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of employee experience initiatives drawing key insights and feeding those back into the team. We use Bob as our HRIS platform

Requirements

  • A genuine people person who is positively emotionally intelligent and designs with people front of mind
  • Some Fintech and or start-up experience would be highly desirable.
  • Experience growing a business internationally with respect to it's people
  • Experience in operating and designing for a remote or hybrid environment and culture
  • HR experience/qualification or previous experience as Head of People or senior people professional role in a high-growth business
  • An excellent communicator who utilises various channels effectively
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Systems thinker – someone who has used and set up HRIS systems, not afraid to automate and always looking for efficiencies.
  • Proven experiences in using analytics and people data to shape strategy
  • Ability to be hands-on and strategic sometimes in the same hour
  • We want someone with energy, contemporary ideas and someone who is willing to back up their ideas with solid reasoning and research/knowledge
